is there any alternative for any contact / parts cleaner?
would it be possible to just mix some alcohol, lighter fluid and acetone?

Lighter fluid alone does a good job for cleaning parts. I think it's what most people tend to use in a little jar to clean hardware. Also using it with a toothbrush for cleaning tyres.

I'd still use the contact cleaner/degreaser for the motor or for quick cleaning though if you don't want to take things apart.

You can use lighter fluid to clean a motor, it is only not recommended because over time it eats away at the plastic. I haven't heard too many good things with alcohol either. (Make sure you're using 99%-100% alcohol when purchasing because anything less will rust metal parts.) Your best bet is electronics/contact cleaner for motors.
