There's a lot of engineering that has to go into a FMAR, my first few were pretty half ass when I first started building them. This one, hopefully won't be. Lots of different ways to build them as well.

I'll try and take more detailed photos later on.

This is more or less it finished, didn't take the time to take detailed photos this time.

Went with a front hanging lantern to try something new, due to the front lantern being shorter they tend to not have as much force when compensating for the recoil of a bounce, but the theory is that upon landing they kind of have a forward inertia that makes them recover faster after jumps.

Also the cover was themed after a character in the game Monster Hunter if you didn't notice. I used diluted liquid mask and let it drip down from the nose of the body to give it a slime appearance. The rear half is a black/metallic purple swirl done with hydrodipping.

Is there any cutting to be done inside the chassis to allow for the inverted batteries? If so, how? I'm planning to build an FMAR car aswell hehe

I'll get you some detailed photos, there's some trimming to be done where the switch is so that you can reverse the batteries to fit.
