From what I understand, front bumper setup where the rollers are closer to the wheels (e.g. via bumperless setup) helps with cornering. Would this hold true with the rear roller setup? Would there be any advantage to positioning rear rollers closer to the rear wheels? In the case of “push the front, pull the back”, is there any advantage to position rear rollers further from the rear wheels?

Positioning he rear rollers closer to the rear tires should increase cornering as well. Moving the rollers further away from he wheels is supposed to increase stability when cornering.

Like Itr74 said, a shorter car will improve the cornering speed at the cost of stability.
