    Hi All,

I was picking up some batteries from IKEA to get started, and I noticed some of the 1000mah cells were made in China, and some were made in Japan.

I understand the Japanese ones are the preferred ones so I got a pack of those, but I needed to dig into the older stock at the bottom to get a pack made in Japan.

Just a warning for those shopping for the 1000mah LADDA cells to check where they are made.

Photos of the packaging is below.

    Good spotting.

For those that don't know, all Ni-MH batteries in Japan are made in one factory, This means that the LADDA, Fujitsu pink and Tamiya Neochamps are all very similar in performance but the LADDAs are about 1/3 the price of Fujitsu and Tamiya.

They should be pretty close in weight. Higher capacity batteries have more/denser materials inside which bumps op their wright. 950 to 1000mah should not make much of a difference. Racers here like the Ikea batteries because they are $5 for 4 compared to $15-20 for 4 for Fujitsu or neochamps.

FWIW, I just performed the break-in of the 2450 mAh LADDA cells, and recorded the following capacities: 2499, 2519, 2522, and 2534 mAh. So that seems to me to be a good sign that they're quality cells.

Breaking in the 1000mAh cells as we speak and will report back the results.
